Association pour l’Intégration des Migrants and Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova (CIPM), together with Makers Movement and Moldova State University have organized the workshop “Boosting the interest in nuclear physics and new technologies” on 11th March 2017 at IHub Chișinău

The workshop has been attended by 20 young professionals interested in nuclear physics and new technologies. The participants had the opportunity to discuss, debate and learn from PhD. Ing. Dorin Dusceac. Mr. Dusceac is Senior Researcher at the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission which is a French research organization in the areas of energy, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies.

The workshop “Boosting the interest in nuclear physics and new technologies” approached the following topics:

  1. Brief Introduction to Physics and Nuclear Engineering;
  2. Atomic energy today: practical applications and vision for the future;
  3. Practical aspects in the field of nuclear physics: research, academic life, programs;
  4. Opportunities and practical perspectives in the field of nuclear physics and engineering.

Finally, the event provided participants with an opportunity to talk about shaping the future of innovation in nuclear physics and engineering and the possibility to study and start a career in this field abroad.
